Rotate PDF pages and save

Rotate one page, a selection or the whole document, then save it the right way up.

or drop it anywhere on this page

Your PDF is opened on your device. It is never uploaded.

Other PDF tools

Rotate PDF pages in your browser and save the result, without uploading the file. Turn a single page, a selection or the whole document by 90 degrees at a time, then download a PDF that opens the right way up in every reader.

How to rotate PDF pages and save

  1. Choose PDF file, or drop the PDF on this page. The Pages panel opens with a thumbnail for every page.
  2. Select the pages to turn (Select all for the whole document, Shift-click for a range).
  3. Press Rotate left or Rotate right; each press turns the selection by 90 degrees.
  4. Press Export and choose PDF with all edits to save the rotated file.

Why it is private

The rotation is written into the page settings of the PDF by PDFium running as WebAssembly in your browser. The file is never uploaded; the rotated document is created on your device when you export.

Frequently asked questions

Is it free?

Yes. The PDF tools are free to use. There is no account, no payment and no watermark.

Are my files uploaded?

No. Pages are rotated inside your browser. The only network requests are for the tool's own files, and the optional cloud conversion is off by default and shows the destination before anything is sent.

Does the rotation stay when I open the file elsewhere?

Yes. The export writes the rotation into each page, so Acrobat, Preview, browsers and phones all show the pages the right way up.

Can I straighten a slightly skewed scan?

No. Rotation works in 90-degree steps only.

Does it work offline after loading?

Yes. Once a tool has loaded with a connection, the site keeps it cached and you can use it again without one. The site can also be installed as a web app from your browser.

Can I open password-protected PDFs?

Yes. You are asked for the password when the file opens. The password is used on your device only and is never stored.
