How to fill PDF form online

  1. Choose PDF file, or drop the form on this page. The Forms panel opens and lists every field.
  2. Click a field on the page and type, tick or pick a value. The Forms panel lists every field so you can jump to the ones you have not filled.
  3. When everything is filled in, press Flatten all form fields in the Forms panel to lock the answers (optional).
  4. Press Export and choose PDF with all edits to download the completed form.

Why it is private

Form values are written into the PDF's own fields by PDFium running as WebAssembly in your browser. Nothing you type is sent anywhere; the completed form exists only on your device until you download it.

Frequently asked questions

Is it free?

Yes. The PDF tools are free to use. There is no account, no payment and no watermark.

Are my files uploaded?

No. The form is filled inside your browser. The only network requests are for the tool's own files, and the optional cloud conversion is off by default and shows the destination before anything is sent.

What does flattening do?

Flattening draws the field values into the page and removes the interactive fields, so the answers cannot be changed later and look the same in every reader.

Can I fill an XFA form?

Only partly. Dynamic XFA forms are not supported; the tool tells you and lets you fill any static AcroForm fields the file also contains.

Does it work offline after loading?

Yes. Once a tool has loaded with a connection, the site keeps it cached and you can use it again without one. The site can also be installed as a web app from your browser.

Can I open password-protected PDFs?

Yes. You are asked for the password when the file opens. The password is used on your device only and is never stored.
